Ball Transfer units allow multi-directional movement of goods between conveyor lines or workstations. Balls are 1" diameter with a 50 lb. capacity. The push force required to move a product over a ball depends primarily on the weight and condition of the product being conveyed. It may require a force of anywhere from 2% to 15% of the product weight. For example, a 200 lb. product could require between 4 lbs. and 30 lbs. of force to move across the ball transfers. |
