These Lyon Healthcare Lockers are finished in an advanced powder coating technology from DuPont and Agion Antimicrobial that inhibits bacterial, mold and fungal growth on locker surfaces.

Here's how it works: Any moisture on the locker surface triggers the controlled release of powerful, germ-killing silver ions that provide around-the-clock antimicrobial protection - for decades. The Antimicrobial compound is completely inorganic, less toxic than ordinary table salt, less irritating than talcum powder, and has been approved for medical devices and food contact application. The cost for Lyon's Antimicrobial finish is nominal considering it will provide continuous protection for the estimated 20-year life of the lockers.

Because of their Antimicrobial properties, Lyon Healthcare lockers are also recommended for food service applications and educational facilities of all types.
